Delete your data

Disconnect Facebook, Instagram or Google

When you connected Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Meta Ads) or Google Ads, EventsLake keeps a login for it, encrypted, so it can read your ad results or send your conversions. To delete it:

  1. Log in to EventsLake at app.eventslake.com.
  2. Go to Settings → Destinations (or Settings → Sources) and open Meta or Google Ads.
  3. Open the Settings tab and click Remove.
  4. EventsLake deletes the login right away. It can no longer read from or send to your account.

Or from Facebook or Google itself

Facebook: go to Settings and privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find EventsLake and click Remove. Google: go to myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access, find EventsLake and remove its access.

The login EventsLake holds then stops working. To also delete it from EventsLake, remove the connection as above, or ask us.

What else is deleted

The ad results EventsLake read from your account (spend, clicks, posts) are part of your project's data. Delete them with the rest of your project, or ask us to delete only them.

Delete your project or account

Project admins can delete a project in Settings → General. It stops working right away for everyone, and the logins of its connections are deleted. To have all its events and contacts erased for good, or to close your whole account, e-mail us: we erase it within 30 days, backups included.

You're a visitor or customer of a company that uses EventsLake

Then that company decides what it stores about you. Ask them to delete your data: in EventsLake, they remove you everywhere with one click. You can also e-mail us, and we pass your request on to them.

Ask us

Can't do it yourself, or want to be sure? E-mail [email protected] from the address of your account, and say what you want deleted. We confirm when it's done, within 30 days and usually much faster.
